Her Way Home is more than just an identity design for NEC’s 2024 graduating performance; it’s a reflection of the powerful connection between music and identity.
It serves as both a mirror and a guide for Asian musicians, illuminating their sense of home, cultural background, and nostalgia.

In a world that often distances us from our origins, Her Way Home offers a visual and emotional journey. Inspired by the concept of an “extending way,” the motion design connects Asian musicians to their heritage while forging new paths.
This identity redefines belonging, allowing each musician to reflect on both their roots and their future.
The Asian Musician’s NostalgiaJust as music meets us at our emotional core, this project seeks to bridge the gap between the present and the past, between the individual and their roots.
